Therapy can help.
Thank you for visiting my website. I know deciding to enter therapy can be a difficult and yet often a profound decision. My practice focus is primarily on working with women whom have either been in several modalities of treatment without much success, or are looking for help navigate through life's transitions. I use a collaborative and eclectic approach in my work. I believe it is important to individualize treatment based on client needs. In addition, I have vast experience working with teens, young adults and parents.
Here are some questions to consider for your individual work:
-
Are you a woman struggling through life's transitions and want a caring and supportive therapist in order to guide you through the journey?
I believe I may be able to help. I have worked with many women with depression, anxiety, trauma, marital/relationship conflict, parenting challenges and beyond.
Here are some questions to consider for parent coaching:
-
Are you a parent worried about your childs behavior?
-
Are you concerned about anxiety, depression or high risk behaviors?
-
Do you find it challenging to engage with your child and set appropriate limits and boundaries, all the while determining what is expected for their developmental age?
Here are some questions to determine if your teen or young adult would benefit from therapy with an expert working with these age groups.
-
Is your teen struggling socially or academically and not improving with parent involvement?
-
Is your teen exhibiting symptoms relating to an untreated mental health issue? High risk behaviors?
-
Does it feel like your teen or college student isn't launching as expected?
These are not uncommon questions of parents of preteens, teens and young adults ask themselves. I hear these tough questions daily by good and loving parents wanting to connect and foster growth in their children.
As a therapist, my ultimate goal is to guide my clients work through life's developmental challenges and gain an understanding of how to solve current stressors. I provide an environment to parents that is supportive, educational and often times needed to navigate through the tough times. As a therapist to women, I establish a caring relationship in order to explore how to address current or past challenges in healthy ways that will ultimately foster interpersonal growth.
